nokia e71 review

A week has passed since my Nokia E71. Yes, I got a new phone is not that an iPhone. And yes, I'm healthy. How many of you know, my last post, I am a fan of Nokia, but I can also say that I am critical of some of his decisions.

After living with the E61 for over a year (and still love it actually), I was really excited, my hands on the E71. I am underwhelmed by the spy that he had seen photos online. But when I opened the box and shot them, I was very impressed. It is not very strong ... Dealers own ... a good weight.

If an object of beauty radiates E71 ... true meaning of the word. This continues the tradition of Nokia Virgin objects ... the 8800, E65, Nokia E61, etc, etc. The screen is very bright and clear, all surfaces are bright Even here, much more impressive in person than in pictures.

Then there is its size. I was worried about the decline in the form factor ... the feeling of keys? ... I want to experience on a small screen. Frankly, the E71 feels so good in the hand (and can easily slip into your pocket change ... even a pocket of my jeans) I have not even noticed! And after using the keyboard for 15 minutes, I have not noticed greater distance. Did I mention that I love the keyboard ... Yes, a real keyboard with real ... because there are buttons REAL! And when I asked the E71 in an iPod touch, it's actually a small and thin!

Then I took my attention to some of the functions. The interface is much more sensitive than the E61, especially in the imaging and messaging applications. I have a few photos with the 3.2 megapixel camera and went very well. The typical grain is assumed that a small CCD. The top-mail client is faster and even easier to configure. I need to adapt its technology to push e-mail client.

Speaking of the most important omission is the support for BlackBerry Connect. I understand that Nokia and RIM are not on good terms, but as an institution to support .... Period.

As a phone, I'm very happy with him. The sound quality is excellent. Over time, the E61, it was clear to me that the maximum volume is too low (both inbound and outbound), but this is the E71.

Let me conclude by saying that I am a big fan of the iPhone / iPod touch offered by the family. This phone is not. But it is an incredible smartphone. I have a trip this week, my critical files, customers on the phone and in some suppliers, while outside my office .... Nobody knew it!
